Pronexus, the developer of the leading Interactive Voice Response (IVR) toolkit Pronexus VBVoice™, announced today that Telnorm, a systems integrator with operations in Mexico and Colombia, has supplied a Mexican university with a predictive dialer solution based on VBVoice.
VBVoice IVR software enables the creation of feature-rich IVR solutions including auto-attendants, automated payments, fax applications, notifications, polling and surveys. IVR applications built with VBVoice have been deployed by thousands of customers in numerous industries including banking, government, healthcare, insurance and utilities.
Telnorm’s client, a Mexico City-based private university, increases awareness of its services and recruits new students by calling them. The university’s existing solution was expensive and didn’t give the university enough information on how its campaigns were performing. When the university wanted to replace its predictive dialer, Telnorm proposed a solution built with the VBVoice IVR toolkit. The dialer allows the university to reach more potential students by eliminating manual dialing and by passing only live calls to the agents. “The client is very happy with the new predictive dialer which is robust and easy to use,” said Eduardo Gonzalez Garcia, Director of Development for Telnorm, and continued: “In fact the client wants to expand the solution and add new features.”
The university’s application took only two weeks to build using VBVoice. Mr. Gonzalez’s team is currently working on several more complex IVR applications using VBVoice. “We use VBVoice as a platform for IVR solutions because of its versatility, dependability and ease of use which allows us to build better IVR solutions faster than with other tools,” said Mr. Gonzalez. Telnorm recently visited Pronexus’ headquarters for an advanced training course with the Pronexus support and development teams.
Gilberto Santos, Pronexus’ Sales Manager for the Latin American region commented: “There is huge potential for IVR technology in Latin America. Our IVR toolkit, which is available free of charge from our website, comes with two runtimes for testing. The product also comes with a Spanish prompt library and tens of sample applications. This way any small company can afford a quality IVR and capitalize on IVR benefits like reduced costs and increased revenue. Additionally companies like Telnorm who integrate VBVoice as part of their solution can grow their business with a tool that enables them to build advanced voice solutions faster and more efficiently.”
